We are pleased to announce that the Jabra PanaCast 50 is now certified as a Microsoft Teams Room Content Camera. This is in addition to Jabra's existing certification for Microsoft Teams Room small and medium meeting rooms – making the PanaCast 50 the first intelligent video bar certified for MTR which also has an integrated dual stream whiteboarding feature that is certified as an MTR Content Camera.
The following settings are recommended for an optimal experience:
The PanaCast 50 dual stream whiteboard setup should be configured using Jabra Direct while connected to the IT administrator’s laptop via USB
In Jabra direct, under Device settings>Camera>Whiteboard sharing mode: select “In separate content camera view.” Once setup is complete, reconnect the PanaCast 50 to the MTR compute unit via USB
Select the Jabra PanaCast 50 Content Camera for use by the MTR system using the MTR interface under More>Settings>Peripherals, and ensure that the “Content enhancements (recommended)” box is selected
Once configured, users can invoke sending dual stream of the whiteboard image using the MTR interface while also sending the PanaCast 50 main camera view
The certified firmware version is 1.13.7, and it is available via the MTR update system (WU).
