Microsoft “mainstream support” for Lync Phone Edition (LPE) ended on April 10, 2018
Office 365 (Skype for Business Online) will no longer support Lync Phone Edition phones after October 31, 2018
Lync Phone Edition (LPE) does not support TLS 1.2. If customers are upgrading TLS to TLS 1.2 (i.e. with Skype for Business Server On-Premises), the LPE phones will have limited functionality
